Adding events to the wiki's calendar is pretty easy and straightforward.
Go To The Calendar
First, make sure that you are logged in.
- You should see your email address in the upper right hand corner of the page.
- If you are not already on the calendar, click the "Calendar" link on the sidebar.
Add The Event
Now you are ready to add your event to the calendar.
- Click on the link that says "detailed entry" at the top of the calendar. A window should pop up that says, "Add a new event!"
- You can enter all of the event's details here.
- Type the name of the event in the Event box.
- You can enter the date manually, or you can use the mini popup calendar. This should be familiar to anyone that used the eBoard's calendar.
- You can add detailed notes and link to other wiki pages or websites.
- You can use the tags to flag an event as important or to change the color of the event on the calendar.
- Adding the work important to the tags will cause the event to have a star in front of it and to be the first event.
- The following colors are supported: blue, navy, maroon, purple, green, red, teal, magenta, olive, lime, orange, aqua, and yellow.
- Finally for events that only school personal should know about or see, check the box labeled Private.
- Private events are only viewable by users that have accounts on the wiki.
- Once you have added all the information for your event, click the "Add Event" button. Your new event will now be shown on the calendar.
